Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) is a strategic component of the Enterprise CIO (ECIO) operating model and provides critical global technology functions & capabilities and enables efficient & effective engineering and operations of technology platforms across Wells Fargo, in addition to ensuring we take an enterprise view to drive platform standards and consistency. EPS provides secure, scalable, common and re-usable platform services & solutions that align with EIT and business priorities.
The EPS Strategic Planning and Business Services team partners with EPS leaders and our key partners in HR, Risk, Finance, and Communications on EPS strategy, financial analytics, initiative and portfolio management, and team member engagement.
The EPS Strategic Planning and Business Services team is looking for a well-rounded individual to assist in a broad range of strategic efforts including support for the senior leaders within the EPS leadership team spanning the following sub-teams (as described below): Enterprise Platform Engineering (EPE), DevOps and Engineering (DOE), and a newly emerging Enterprise Platform Organization (EPO).
EPE is composed of our Middleware Engineering, Middleware Operations, Cloud Engineering, and Cloud Operations teams.
DOE is composed of Build and Release and Application Monitoring and Logging.
EPO will be inclusive of the following practices: ECIO Monitoring and Logging Operations, ECIO Operational Controls and Application Operations.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Act as a primary liaison with internal support teams, including HR, Risk, Finance, as well as other internal teams as appropriate, and assist in the management of relationships within EPE, DOE, and EPO as well as other EIT (Enterprise Information Technology) teams.
Coordinate all management reporting requests and ensure quality and timely response for all deliverables, including, but not limited to, operating reviews, financial reviews, and enforcement of applicable policies.
Provide direction and support on meeting deliverables to all resources including senior and junior members.
Implement continuous process improvement and efficiency within the organization by challenging the status quo, eliminating redundant processes, and streamlining deliverables.
Assist in determining strategic planning objectives and monitor key performance indicators for all strategic initiatives and Management by Objectives (MBOs).
Manage preparation of the leadership meetings and events for each of EPE, DOE, and EPO.
Lead and designed key presentation efforts and analysis for the respective leadership teams.
Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver results in less defined & constantly changing environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with broad, deep and diverse audiences; ability to simplify complex messages for consumption
Ability to build long term relationships with a broad set of partners
Ability to improve processes with an operational mindset
Ability to analyze data (pivot tables) and simplify key observations and provide recommendations

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
8+ years of financial reporting experience
5+ years of banking or financial operations experience
8+ years of process definition and documentation experience
5+ years of process design or improvement experience
8+ years of risk management and mitigation experience
5+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
8+ years of financial services industry experience
Strong analytical skills including analysis of financial metrics
8+ years of strategic planning and development experience
Knowledge and understanding of operational processes
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Program management experience
Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Strong presentation skills
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
5+ years of business banking experience
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
