Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
Business Partner Solutions provides digital/software product management services across Wholesale for front-office tools. BPS is focused on several strategic priorities, including developing a portfolio strategy and business architecture framework, maturing the product management discipline, developing agile capabilities, supporting application rationalization efforts to enable One Wholesale, and delivering against various initiatives including the Wholesale Relationship Management Foundations product strategy and roadmap.
To support these priorities, BPS is:
Partnering across WBS (Operations, Lending, etc.) and with Enterprise groups (Business Architecture, Data, etc.) to develop a Wholesale Business Architecture describing business functions and capabilities which enable common understanding and discussion around process, product/tool improvement, roles and responsibilities, standardization, rationalization, etc.
Co-sponsoring effort and working across Wholesale Business Solutions to implement and mature the Product Management Model that operationalizes how we develop and support the tools/products used by internal Team Members. This includes areas such as user-centric design, data-driven/informed decision-making, user engagement, and agile practices.
Supporting Wholesale Relationship Management Foundations through product development and delivery to strengthen the Bank by enabling Wholesale-wide sales processes while enhancing relationship management capabilities. This focus will help the Wholesale Front Office by deepening customer relationships and reducing complexity to improve the Banker and Customer experience.
The Wholesale Business Solutions Business Partner Solutions Group - Pricing & Profitability product management team is seeking a user-centric, action-oriented, and detail-oriented Product Owner / Analyst for Relationship Pricer s credit products.
This role is responsible for the development and execution of credit and trade pricing capabilities within the Relationship Pricer tool, analyzing and breaking down complex business and product pricing problems, capturing user stories, collaborating with development teams, leading user acceptance testing, and supporting test and learn approaches. The role requires strong business and financial acumen coupled with strong understanding of technology (systems and procedures) and delivery.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Evolve features/functionality associated with product capabilities, with deep understanding of financial products, primarily credit products and variations across different lines of businesses
Understand user segments served, including user goals, the value users derive from the product, and the capabilities
Understand and ensure product development alignment with pricing product management team and other front office tools, such that each release delivers on user outcomes
Collaborate with product, business, finance, and technology partners on detailing and executing proof of concepts incorporating prioritized and forward-looking capabilities (e.g. pricing and profitability financial rules and models to machine learning)
Maintain, refine, and execute on prioritized backlog and iterations and releases
Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure wireframes, mock-ups and product design components are completed to support user story development
Perform user acceptance testing, orchestrating necessary validation by key partners and user groups
Perform demos and gather feedback from users and stakeholders, informing future refinement of the product
Understand utilization and value of credit product features/functionality and workflows, making data-informed recommendations that support tool strategic priorities
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, finance, and business partners to foster collaboration on product development in a transparent and iterative fashion
Support assessment of vendor product and technical capabilities, as needed
Location: Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA Preferred (Open to Locations Across the Wells Fargo Footprint)

10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Financial services experience
Knowledge and understanding of digital technologies to include strong digital design sensibilities and familiarity with best practices for user-centered digital design
Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Knowledge and understanding of business systems analysis or design in the financial services industry
Knowledge and understanding of product management in the financial services industry
Knowledge and understanding of product management or business strategy in the financial services industry
Knowledge and understanding of trade pricing models and techniques
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
4+ years of JIRA experience
Data modeling experience
Experience with digital software product management in the financial services industry
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
