The Manager of Global Learning Design & Development is responsible for creating nimble, relevant, and immediately applicable training for Tiffany's diverse learning audiences. Current instructional design theories and the application of educational technologies will guide updates to core management and leadership programs to ensure learning is uniquely suited to retail, corporate, and manufacturing environments and the design of new programs will take advantage of the best research and learning tools available. The Manager of Global Learning Design is responsible for in-person facilitation of Tiffany's diverse management and leadership programs; communicating and managing the implementation of changes to programs based on client feedback; and building relationships to manage the consistency of global adaptation and adoption of learning. Key business partners include Organization Effectiveness; Regional Training Directors; Talent Management; Global Education. This role is an individual contributor management professional with no direct reports, but will work closely with the Program and Project Specialist to ensure logistics, such as enrollment, cancellations, pre/post and class materials and other needs for the program delivery are fulfilled.


* Create new global management and leadership programs with clear instructional goals and learning activities. Apply available learning technologies (in-person or electronic simulations, role plays, games, etc.) to enhance retention and skill and behavior transfer back on the job
* Modularize, edit, and update core management and leadership programs on an ongoing basis for immediate applicability to learner's day-to-day jobs. Innovate methods for nimble deployment to varied audiences in retail, corporate, and manufacturing, working with subject matter experts to determine target audience's training needs, modifying content and delivery methods to achieve relevance with local audiences and ideal adoption targets
* Visualize and create instructional graphics to optimize ease and speed of learner comprehension
* Develop assessment criteria and instruments focused on learner's ability to apply and use content in their day-to-day jobs
* Facilitate on- and off-site core management and leadership programs including, but not limited to Tiffany's Management Development Program, Coaching Conversations, Career Conversations, and Transition2Management. Provide post-program follow-up to ensure applicability of learning and client satisfaction. Communicate feedback and project manage implementation of program updates and changes.
* Facilitate off-the-shelf leadership content, modifying or adapting content to ensure relevance to Tiffany as needed
* Facilitate and contribute to the development of ongoing, short-form training (lunch and learns, podcasts, etc.) to supplement existing programs and provide ongoing learning for Tiffany managers and leaders worldwide.
* Build and maintain close relationships with Human Resources Business Partners and regional trainers to solve for training needs by identifying gaps where they exist. Determine short and long-term solutions based on a solid knowledge of Tiffany's suite of management and leadership training offerings, capturing/communicating global best practices whenever possible
* Support OETM teams on special projects as requested including use of assessments, such as MBTI, 360 tools, development/coaching plans, etc.


Required Qualifications:

* Proven working experience in instructional design and instructional technologies
* Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
* Lesson and curriculum planning skills
* Proven ability to design innovative approaches to learning experiences
* Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
* Solid knowledge of course development/authoring software and at least one Learning Management System (LMS)
* Ability to storyboard
* Strong project management skills for large scale internal and vendor-led projects
* Experience deploying content globally including determining necessary cultural modifications, managing translations, liaising with international vendors, etc.
* 5 - 7 years proven facilitation expertise, preferably with management or leadership development programs
* Excellent relationship-building skills, preferably with experience in developing cross-cultural partnerships
* Demonstrated verbal communication skills
* Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed
* Availability to moderate calls with international partners early/late as necessary to accommodate for international time differences
* Strong project and program management skills
* Experience deploying content globally including determining necessary cultural modifications, managing translations, liaising with international vendors, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

* BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
* Experience with management/leadership development program design
* 360, MBTI, Hogan Suite and/or other assessment certifications
