Handle product development on Outerwear, Clothing, and appointed seasonal styles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Create and maintain PLM Tech packages and seasonal line lists based on Design and Fabric hand-off. * Communicate and provide direction to agents, vendors, and cross-functional partners for day-to-day product development follow-up. * Request and maintain seasonal \"stats\" for Merchandising presentation. * Convey Design's direction on leather raw material, finishing, product wash and approvals on a timely manner to vendors/ agents. * Work with Design, Tech Design, and Production partners to ensure development process is moving forward and meeting key development calendar DDD. * Work with Design and Fabric/ Trim/ label/ packaging contacts to develop and monitor progress. Order samples for showroom samples if necessary. * Work with Production team and Fabric/ trim contacts on product costing. Work with Design to achieve the target cost in order to achieve target IMU. * Send and track all outgoing and incoming approval submits, including fit and wash samples, trims, and wash/ finishing trials. * Prepare for fittings / meetings and make proper adjustments to Tech packs and Line lists for any changes through stock approval. Communicate any changes to related partners. * Prepare and monitor all work-in-progress (WIP) reports to ensure there is timely follow up with pending submits to achieve required approval deadlines. * Communicate status updates in weekly WIP meetings. * Monitor showroom sample status and track all incoming submits. * Ensure all incoming and outgoing submits and samples are properly organized and tagged.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Education (Degree): Bachelors Degree
* Knowledge of woven garment manufacturing process. * Strong organizational skills with attention to details. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * 1 to 2 years of experience in product development. * Ability to multi task under pressure * Team player * Computer skills: FlexPLM and Excel
