Micron's Embedded Business Unit (EBU) is looking for an SSD Product Architect to join our team. Industry trends in Autonomous Driving, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence are driving significant growth in memory and storage. As a part of the team you we be responsible for defining next generation PCIe NVMe products to meet the needs of next generation automotive, IMM, and consumer applications. You will work with customers, chipset vendors, and other customer facing teams within EBU to define solutions by providing technical expertise and innovative ideas that can optimally serve the business needs. You will collaborate with internal engineering teams designing the internal architecture, hardware, and firmware to create industry leading products that enable Micron to continue providing leading edge nonvolatile memory products. In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify and define new innovative product concepts, features, and architectures based on customer requirements for next generation applicationsMaintain strong technical engineering relationships with internal engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and feasibility demonstration of new product conceptsDevelop new product/architecture specificationsGenerate new intellectual property and patentsEvangelize Micron's new products, technologies, and capabilities at industry consortia, technical organizations, and technical conferencesIdentify key industry technical trends and competitive landscapesStay abreast of new advanced technology and architecture trends in the market Qualifications Successful candidates for this position will have:A minimum of five years of architecture or design experience with PCIe SSD products.Proven history of defining innovative solutions to product and system challengesThe ability to be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined.The ability to work with other engineers across multiple disciplines and customers of various positions.Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.Knowledge of automotive system applications (Preferred) Education:BSEE or equivalent.
