The Hearst Luxury & Design Collection, which consists of Elle D?cor, House Beautiful, Town & Country and Veranda magazines, is seeking a talented Art Director reporting to the Executive Director of Brand Experiences and Marketing. The Art Director will work in a creative team of 3 to help to create branding materials and design and produce in-book branded content for advertising department within this fast-paced environment.

Other design responsibilities include:

* Internal and client facing presentations
* Design integrated marketing multi-platform proposals
* Ideate and create advertising/promotional campaigns and brand stories for advertising partners
* In-book promotion pages
* Invitations, sell sheets, e-blasts
* Digital promotional design
* Logo and packaging design
* Sourcing, designing and producing collateral for editorial and marketing events
* Assist in event production

Seeking someone with:

* 5+ years in design
* The ability to determine how to best represent a concept visually
* Experience presenting concepts and designs to clients and internal senior level management
* Photo shoot and event production experience a plus
* Ability to work with production and oversee projects through completion
* Experience/exposure to develop detailed budgets, timelines and monitor department expenses
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Developing creative standards
* Collaborative, reliable and work well in a team
* Passion for design

Must have experience with:

* Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; Keynote and PowerPoint
